Pyotr Ilyiç Çaykovski'nin 'Mevsimler' Adlı Eserinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
Being a distinctive representative of Romantic Russian Music in the second half of the 19th century, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, has gained significance as a composer with his symphonies, concertos and ballets during his lifetime andafterwards.The first (Op. 23) being the most famous, perpetuating in seasonal programmes of orchestras to date, Tchaikovsky composed three concertos for piano at the time when the instrument's capacity became sophisticated and piano compositions were sought after.There also existed Tchaikovsky's pieces for solo piano, among which lies the renown op.37bis 'The Seasons' , a set of twelve sections, a special assignment that was given to the composer to write for a monthly music periodical. Thiswork of Tchaikovsky, is also an important stand for programme music.In this research, having been scanned the composer's biography, the characteristics of the op.37bis 'The Seasons' have been introduced and the form of it has analysed.
