Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore relations between the quality management and records management. In terms of quality management and quality assurance models, records management and retention programs examined as one of the records management elements. In that scope, conditions which affect or determine records issues in our public universities analysed at the example of Hacettepe University. Survey method has been used in which data gathered through literature review, legal analyses, questionnaires and interviews in the research. Questionnaires and interviews have been completed in all divisions that have file unit in H.Ü.Beytepe Campus. Questionnaires have been applied to total of 186 individuals and analysed.
