Ankara İli Meloidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) Familyası Üzerinde Sistematik Araştırmalar
Özet
In this study, researches were conducted on the family Meloidae in Ankara province. For this purpose, field studies were carried out in Ankara province in May-October 2018 and April-May 2019. 2153 specimens were collected. Totally 30 species were identified belonging to 2 subfamilies and 13 genera. 22 species belonging to 8 genera from Meloinae subfamily and 8 species belonging to 5 genera from Nemognathinae subfamily were determined. The genus Mylabris Fabricius, 1775 has the most species with 8 species. Alosimus luteus (Waltl, 1838), Teratolytta monticola Bologna, 2006, Hycleus polymorphus polymorphus (Pallas, 1771) and Stenoria (s.str.) apicalis apicalis (Latreille, 1804) species were recorded from Central Anatolian for the first time and detailed locality record of S. (s.str.) apicalis apicalis in Turkey was given in this study for the first time. The most western distribution of Alosimus luteus was given with this study. Detailed locality records, distributions in Turkey and the World, synonyms of all identified species were given.
With this study, species were evaluated and discussed in terms of systematic and taxonomic, faunistic, ecological and zoogeographic aspects. In systematic and taxonomic evaluations and discussions, the general morphology of the 30 species were examined in detail, described and photographed. Male genital organs of 20 species, which have male specimens, were described, drawn and photographed in detail. Male genital organ structures were compared and discussed systematically between detected species and literature. Drawings of some other taxonomic characters were drawn in detail such as tarsi, prosternum, mesosternum. Photos, drawings and datailed descriptions of male genital organs of Alosimus luteus and A. marginicollis (Haag-Rutenberg, 1880) were presented for the first time in this study.
In faunistic evaluations and discussions, species numbers and distributions in subfamilies, genera and counties of Ankara were given. Faunal similarities and species diversities of these counties were compared by using Baroni-Urbani Buser similarity index and Brillouin diversity index. This comparisons exhibited that Haymana county has the highest species diversity value. Meloidae faunas of Ankara and Central Anatolian Region were compared using Baroni-Urbani Buser similarity index. In the ecological evaluations, number of specimens, collecting months, collecting altitudes and air temperatures of collecting locaties were determined and discussed. Collecting months, altitude ranges and air temperature ranges of localities were compared separately in terms of species diversity by using Brillouin diversity index. As a result of these evaluations, June as collecting month, 701 - 900 m as collecting altitude interval and 27.6 - 30.0 °C collecting temperature interval were detected with higher species diversities than rest. In the section of zoogeographical evaluations, relationship between Meloidae faunas of Ankara province and Palaearctic Region and its sub-regions were compared. Similarities and differences between species compositions of the research area and the other geographical regions of Turkey were compared. It was determined that Ankara Meloidae fauna was most closely related to the Middle East subregion of Palaearctic Region.
