In this study, women's history, their place in social, political, religious and artistic
fields and their meanings were taken into consideration. These fields are
referred by the applications made.
In the past, meanings like fertility, sacredness, abundance and purity were
assigned to women. Cybele has reached up to the present day with the
goddess and idol figures.
This work is formed to illustrate how female image exists and it takes place in
life from past to present.
In the first part, the woman generating the main theme of the work and her
place in the historical process were tried to be expressed.
In the second part, the lives and works of local and foreign artists working on
image and form in art were expressed.
In the third part, title of Woman Image in Ceramic forms with Original Styles and
personel applications.
