Sergeı Rachmanınoff’un Op.18 İkinci Piyano Konçertosu’nun İncelenmesi
Özet
In this study, the creation and production process of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Op. 18
Second Piano Concerto has been analyzed and its parts have been examined one by
one to achieve a clearer and deeper understanding of the piece. In addition, the
information that could help its commentary has been gathered. The aforementioned
concerto has been a part of the repertoires of several reputable pianists from the era it
was finalised up until our current day.
This study on Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Op 18. Second Piano Concerto is expected to
align the important subjects related to the piece and serve as a reference for any
performer, researcher, teacher and student who wants to further explore its form and
harmonic structure, thus, interpret the piece correctly. The research will be scientific
and consist of the methods of source scanning and analysis.
