In his "Concerto for Viola and Orchestra", his compositional techniques and the use of solo instrument has revealed his individual attitude which he has developed over years and formed during the "maturity" period. In A. Schnittke's "Concerto for Viola and Orchestra", the second theme given in Mozart style reveals the polistilism of the composition.
