Artırılmış Gerçeklik ile Bir Mobil Uygulama: Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesi Örneği
Özet
In this thesis the Augmented Reality technology is researched with its all general aspects. In the first section, the problem, the aim of the study and the goals to be achieved at the end of working with the precaution are revealed. In second and third section, the history and the fields of application of the subject are studied with its range of application in museum studies. It is mentioned as an example of application, the most significant approaches and the studies which are carried out until today specific to the museum studies in addition to the compilation of the achievements at the software, hardware and tracking, the approach variations in the AR application for outdoors and the indoors and the limitations which are still being struggled by the whole discipline. After the general overview, in fourth section, it is designed a mobile AR application specific to the Stone Artifacts Hall of the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and this application is tried to bring to a point which permits an offer to the users with all its layers with the scope of the smart phone’s displays. In this process it is tried to mention about the studies and the technological infrastructure which are carried out from the modeling till the software of the application.
