SEKİZ KÖŞELİ YILDIZ MOTİFİ ÜZERİNDEN RESİMDE GEOMETRİK ARAYIŞLAR

Abstract

This thesis study determines the relationship between art and mathematics; It is seen that art and geometric abstraction deal with the transformation of geometric forms into art. The application of geometric forms in painting is examined with cultural and cultural developments. Additionally, the influence of modern art movements and contemporary practices is emphasized. With the content of Islamic architecture, the painting was inspired by the eight-pointed star motif, which is visually preserved under the heading of geometric designs. The eight-pointed star motif is the most widely used geometric pattern in traditional arts. The focus is on the role of geometry in the application process. The findings obtained in the study reveal that art is a universal language and comprehensive foundations constitute an important component of this language.
