2011 Depremi Sonrası Van İli Toplumsal Yapısının Sosyal Kalkınma Göstergeleriyle Analizi
Özet
The historical process shows that, from past to present, almost the entire world has been exposed to various disaster risks. During this period, Türkiye has experienced and continues to experience many disasters. However, various studies have shown that many problems still occur after the disaster and that the promises made and actions to be taken after the earthquake are not fulfilled and similar problems continue to occur. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the level of policies implemented to eliminate the problems, damages and ruins in the social structure of Van in the 2011 earthquake, using social development indicators. In general, physical, environmental, economic, health, education and social problems arise after a disaster. This study covers determining the changes in the social structure after the earthquake in Van province using social development indicators. The focus is on the extent to which the implementation of post-earthquake policies has contributed to social development. For this purpose, a survey study is conducted in 4 districts of Van using stratified proportional sampling, and interviews are conducted with provincial directorates of public institutions and organizations and officials of NGOs in the province. In this study, it is tried to determine the relationship between social structure and social development indicators after the disaster by using social development indicators such as family, education, economy, health, physical and ecological environment. It is necessary to produce social policies regarding the determination of the gap between the services implemented to meet the needs. As a result of all these, it is thought that it is important to develop social policy recommendations after a possible disaster
