ÇAĞATAY EDEBİYATI ŞAİRLERİNDEN MÎRHASAN SEDÂÎ’NİN DİVANI VE ÇEKİM MORFOLOJİSİ AÇISINDAN BİTİMLİ FİİLLER
Özet
Chagatai Turkish is one of the historical Turkish languages used as a written language in a wide geography that developed between the 15th and 20th centuries. Classical Chagatai Literature reached its peak with Ali Şîr Nevâyî, after which various poets and writers produced works showing Chagatai literary language features. In the recent Chagatai literature, new names have emerged that continue the characteristics of the classical period. Mîrhasan Sedâî, who has an important place among them, is one of the representatives of the late Chagatai literature. However, it has been observed that the poet and his works are not given enough space in the literature, and the lack of research on the language used by the author has attracted attention.
In this study, Sedâî Divan was prepared as a translated text in order to fill this gap in the literature. The criteria used in the transcription process were determined and exemplified in accordance with the sound characteristics of the work. In addition, in order to evaluate Sedâî's language use and to provide linguistic evidence about the language features of the period, the appearance of aspect-tense and modality in finite verbs was analysed based on the work. The author-stylistic relationship between the identified linguistic features was evaluated within the framework of these three categories
