Dijital Uygulamalarda Kullanılan Piksel Tekniğinin Seramik Sanatına Yansıması

Abstract

Today's technological progress has brought important developments, and these developments have paved the way for the emergence of new inventions and ideas. One of these developments is digital art. Even though digital art is produced in a computer environment, it has inspired other art disciplines and the direct production of artworks. This interaction is also reflected in painting, sculpture, clothing fashion and ceramic art among the plastic arts. With the emergence of digital art, designers and artists have sought ways to contribute to this field. Artists have discovered a new form of expression with the pixel, a new texture and form of expression derived from this field. With the development of digital, hundreds of points were brought together to solve the resolution problem when transferring the analog image to digital media. This situation gave rise to the pixel technique. With the advancement of technology, pixels have not only solved the resolution problem in the digital environment, but also influenced the art medium. This led to the birth of pixel art. This formation also affected the ceramic art. In this study, the effects of pixel art on artists and designers will be examined, and the artists' pixel texture rendering techniques and the works of art they produce will be emphasized. Thus, the reflections of pixel art, which artists use as a form of expression, will be investigated. As a result of the research, ceramic works inspired by pixel art will be created.
