In this research, the problems, experiences, expectations and post-graduation decisions of Iranian master's and doctoral students who studied at Turkey's state and foundation universities between 2014 and 2019 were investigated. The main purpose of the study is to determine the thoughts of Iranian students about staying in Turkey after their education and the factors affecting their decisions. A Quantitative research design was used in the study. Iranian students attending postgraduate education at universities in Turkey are the population of the research, and 396 Iranian students selected by non-probability sampling among these students constitute the sample of the research. The sample number constitutes 11% of all Iranian students studying in Turkey. As a result of the research, it was seen that Iranian students were largely satisfied with their education in Turkey and did not experience any significant problems in terms of social relations. The rate of students who have problems and are dissatisfied is quite low. Although the rate of those who had any adaptation problems during their akademic life in Turkey is low, the most prominent issues with adaptation problems are difficulty in making friends and the resulting feeling of loneliness. The most important problem they face in Turkey is the economic problem. One third of the sample is considering staying in Turkey after their education completed. Job opportunities and cultural life are among the factors that are effective in their staying decisions.
