Adli Bilimlerde Ses Kayıtları Üzerinde Manipülasyon İncelemesi
Özet
In this study, it is aimed to propose an examination method consisting of visual-auditory and linguistic parameters in order to determine the manipulations made on Turkish voiced sound recordings. In this context, the parameters to be analyzed were determined as a result of the literature research. The applications of these parameters, which include concepts from different disciplines, in the context of the proposed method are explained with examples and how they contribute to the studies is emphasized. In order for the determined parameters to be applied in an integrative way, they were classified according to the examination method and their applicability was ensured with the Examination Form created. The proposed method has been manipulated by cutting (X), copying (C) and mixing (M) methods and tested on test records whose semantic integrity has been compromised. The 10 test records prepared were examined independently of each other by the participants, 3 of whom were linguistics experts and 3 of them were experts in the field of forensic sound analysis, who participated in the research as volunteers. As a result of the examinations made by the participants with the proposed method, 60 examination forms were obtained. As a result of the analyzes made on the findings specified in the examination forms for each record; (i) When visual-auditory and linguistic findings obtained from each recording are evaluated together, all manipulations made in all recordings are determined, (ii) In terms of the manipulation method, the number of findings obtained from the manipulations made with the copying and mixing method is higher than the cutting method, (iii) While this difference is high in visual - auditory examination, it is low in linguistic examination, (iv) Findings were obtained from all parameters determined as criteria, the proposed method is applicable, (v) It has been concluded that linguistic analysis is complementary to visual - auditory analysis and will increase the accuracy of the results reached.
