Abstract

.The aim of this study is to examine the contribution of composition education to the guitar repertoire. The evolution of music education institutions and the role of composition education are discussed, followed by an overview of the works of composers who have contributed to the guitar repertoire. The contribution of composition education to the guitar repertoire is reviewed by focusing on technical skills, genres of work, and collaboration between guitarist and composer.
