| dc.description.abstract | In this research, the contributions of the TRT Ankara Radio Polyphonic Chorus to
the choirs in Turkey are included in the process. A comprehensive review was carried out
upon the detection of the lack of literature review regarding the TRT Ankara Radio
Polyphonic Choir.
In this research, the formation of the "choir", the progress of the historycal of the
choir, the concept of polyphonic music in the Ottoman Empire and the polyphonic choir,
the works carried out within the framework of the National New Turkish Music Movement
during the Republic of Turkey are included.
Until the establishment of the TRT Ankara Radio Polyphonic Choir, it is presented in
the study in historical order, taking into account the processes carried out for the
professional choir culture in Turkey, as well as the effects on this choir in the institutional
sense.
It has been a study in which the new changes and formations that continued with the
invention of the radio the effects of TRT Ankara Radio Polyphonic Choir, which is
Turkey's first a cappella choir, on the development and institutionalization of Turkish

| dc.description.ozet | Bu araştırma, TRT Ankara Radyosu Çoksesli Korosu’nun Türkiye’deki koroların
gelişimine katkılarının süreçsel olarak etkilerini içermektedir. TRT Ankara Radyosu
Çoksesli Korosu ile ilgili literatürsel derlenme eksikliğinin de saptanması üzerine geniş bir
çerçevede inceleme yapılmıştır.
Araştırmada aynı zamanda, “koro” kavramının oluşumuna, koro tarihinin
ilerleyişine, Osmanlı Devleti döneminde çoksesli müzik ve çoksesli koro çalşmalarına,
Türkiye Cumhuriyeti döneminde ise Ulusal Yeni Türk Müziği Akımı çerçevesi içerisinde
yapılan çalışmalara yer verilmiştir.
TRT Ankara Radyosu Çoksesli Korosunun kuruluşuna kadar Türkiye’de profesyonel
anlamda koro kültürü adına yapılan çalışmalardaki süreçlerle birlikte, kurumsal anlamda
geriye kalan sürecin bu koroya olan etkileri de gözetilerek, tarihi sıralamayla çalışmada
sunulmuştur.
Radyonun icadı ile süregelen yeni değişim ve oluşumlarla birlikte Türkiye’nin ilk
kurumsal A Capella korosu olan TRT Çoksesli Korosu’nun kuruluş öncesi ve sonrasında
Türk Koro Müziğinin gelişimi ve koro kurumsallaşmasına etkilerinin incelendiği bir
