Arda İşkol'un Keman Konçertosu Adlı Sanat Çalışmasının Yapısal Analizi

Throughout the history of music, many composers have tried to facilitate the understanding of their music by analyzing their own music. In this study, Arda İşkol examines the Violin Concerto, which he composed himself and wrote within the scope of the 'IKSEV 12th DR. NEJAT F. ECZACIBAŞI NATIONAL COMPETITION FOR COMPOSITION’ which received the first prize. In the first part of the study, the purpose, contents and method of this study are explained. In the second part, the concept of concerto, the changes that violin concertos have undergone until today and the works of Turkish composers in the field of violin concerto are explained. In the third and last chapter, information about Arda İşkol's Violin Concerto is presented and the music is analyzed. This music consists of three movements, the first and third movements are in the form of sonata - allegro, and the second movement is in the form of passacaglia. In researching concepts such as form, golden ratio and symmetry, a literature review was conducted and appropriate sources were utilized. This review was written in order to enable the performers and conductors who will play Arda İşkol's Violin Concerto to comprehend the music in a more comfortable and detailed way.
