Özet
This research was designed in two stages for purposes of content review that is the most watched TV series by young people between the ages 10-14 and 15-18. In the first stage of the research was determined the most watched TV series by young people between the ages 10-14 and 15-18. In the first stage was used the descriptive research model and survey method. Determined by the method of stratified sampling 1530 young people between the ages of 10-14 and 2124 young people between the ages of 15-18 has been the research's sample group. It has been seen that young people spend an average of two hours a day watching television and watching this time in a TV series. Girls of between the ages 10-14 are the most watched TV series is Kiralık Aşk and most loved TV series player is Elçin Sangu, boys are the most watched TV series is Diriliş “Ertuğrul” and most loved TV series player is Engin Altan Düzyatan; determined that not only girls but also boys of between the ages 15-18 are the most watched TV series is Diriliş “Ertuğrul” and most loved TV series player is Engin Altan Düzyatan.
In the second stage of the research was examined that the contents of the top ten most watched TV series by young people that obtained from as a result of the first stage. In the second stage was used the descriptive research model and content analysis method. As content analysis form; "Content Evaluation Form for Children's Programs" was used. It has been observed that the content of the examined TV series contains the most social and emotional content and then that the contents of violent content, cognitive/perceptual development and modeling contents are intense. It has been identified that content for the physical development area, however, does not mean a percentage.
