Özbekçede Fiil Türetimi
Özet
Languages offer different ways of derivation to meet the new words that speakers need. Deriving new words from existing words through affixes is one of the ways commonly used in Turkic languages. Examples will be taken from the work called O’tkan Kunlar by Abdulla Kadiri, who is considered the founder of the Uzbek novel. By examining the suffixes brought to nouns and verbs for verb derivation in Uzbek, it will be investigated whether there are different verb derivation ways other than suffixes. Each suffix will be evaluated in terms of its functional and formal characteristics. The subject of verb form and negation, which affects verbs in terms of function and form, will also be examined within the scope of the research.
