İnme Sonrası Mobiliteyi Değerlendiren Abıloco Anketinin Türkçe Versiyonu, Geçerlik ve Güvenilirliğinin Araştırılması

Abstract

The aim of this study is to translate the ABILOCO questionnaire, which is used to evaluate mobility in stroke patients for individuals living in our country, into Turkish, and to investigate its validity and reliability. 140 individuals over the age of 18 who were able to walk at least 10 meters and had no cognitive impairment were included in the study. The ABILOCO questionnaire was translated into Turkish by following the steps recommended in the literature. The language compatibility (1.00) and content validity (0.97) of the questionnaire were examined by calculating the Polit and Beck Validity Index, and it was shown that the questionnaire provided an excellent fit. As a result of the pilot study carried out with 30 participants, in order to increase the intelligibility of the Turkish version of the ABILOCO questionnaire, the expression "without bringing 2 feet together" was added to item 4 and the phrase "partial paralysis" was added to item 7 as additional information. While the dichotomous form of the questionnaire items was evaluated with the answers of 100 participants, the form of the items answered with a 3-point Likert scale was evaluated with the answers of 140 participants, including these 100 participants. In order to examine the psychometric properties of the questionnaire, Rasch analysis was used for dichotomous answered data, and factor analysis method was used for 3-point Likert scale data. In the Rasch analysis method, 3 items were not included in the analysis, the results of the analysis in which 10 items were included showed that the questionnaire had invariant, unidimensional, linear and local independence characteristics. A single factor analysis of the questionnaire was made with the factor analysis method and the single factor explained 66,567% of the total variance. To test the reliability of ABILOCO-Turkish, Kuder-Richardson-20 (KR-20) value was calculated as 0.86 in dichotomous data and Cronbach α value was calculated as 0.96 in Likert data. When the data obtained from 3-point likert responses were examined, item-total score correlations were found between 0.464 and 0.899. In-class correlation coefficient (ICC) for test-retest reliability in dichotomous and likert data, respectively, was calculated as 0.977 and 0.989. ABILOCO-Turkish results Timed Up and Go test (dichotomous data (r:-0.880, p<0.001); likert data (r:-0.830, p<0.001)) and Berg Balance Scale (dichotomous data (r:-0.879, p<0.001); likert data (r:0.919, p<0.001)) showed high correlation. It supports that both forms of the ABILOCO questionnaire are a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to question the mobility levels of individuals who have had a stroke in Turkish society.
