Kazakça Sıfat-fiillerde Zaman ve Görünüş

Abstract

Suffixes marking the participle category in Kazakh have tense and aspect functions. Although they are interrelated, the category of tense and aspect are different. Whilst speaking point of the action is taken as the basis in category of tense, it is suggested that the verb has a subjective point of view in the aspect category. Regarding this study, tense and aspect functions of participles will be discussed through Kazakh sentences. The study is consisting of two parts.

In the introduction, the subject, purpose, research methods and limitations of the study are given, these categories will be emphasized under the title of theoretical and conceptual framework. Therefore, the categories of aspects and appearance will be understandable. In the second part, the tense and aspect functions that mark the participle category in Kazakh will be discussed and considered with given examples. The study will be concluded with evaluation the data in the final conclusion section.
