Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçe Öğretiminde Fıkraların Önemi
Özet
Turkish Folklore is a part of Turcology. Especially in a huge geography that we call the Turkish world, the fact that the oral culture is dominant in the life and literature of a large part of the Turkish tribes, which consists of a population of 300 million, makes Turkish Folklore the most important and functional discipline of Turcology (Keskin, 2019). Turkish Folklore, even with its functional structure, is capable and powerful to create a field for itself in all disciplines. The interdisciplinary studies of "Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" and "Turkish Folklore" are increasing day by day with their developing and expanding borders in recent years. The relationship between culture and language, which brings these two disciplines closer, constitutes the essence of this study.
A society's culture, mentality and perspective are conveyed through language. Language has a power and effect that develops, protects and sustains both itself and the culture. This feature of the language also manifests itself in the field of language teaching. This area does not only teach language but also cultural interaction/transmission. According to the European Common Recommendations Framework; language learners become multilingual and develop intercultural awareness. The cultural and grammatical competence that an individual has gained in a language shapes the other languages that he has learned and at the same time enables him to gain intercultural awareness, skills and methodological knowledge.
This ensures that the individual is open to new cultural experiences as well as learning multiple languages. The materials and material contents used in the field of "Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language", which has a great impact on the existence, development and transmission/interaction of Turkish and national culture, are of great importance in conveying material and spiritual cultural elements. The limited use of the anecdotes, which contain material and spiritual cultural elements, in the materials constitutes the problem of this study. Anecdotes have a strong influence and importance with the explicit and hidden messages, material and spiritual values, cultural elements and the function of teaching, internalizing and transferring these elements in language teaching. The purpose of this study is to emphasize the importance of this living cultural treasure by providing new and different perspectives to both fields with an appropriate and correct use of all these material and spiritual cultural elements carried by the joke.
