Kadının Bakım Emeğinin Evde Bakım Uygulaması Üzerinden Değerlendirilmesi Bir Karma Yöntem Araştırması: Ankara Mamak Örneği

Abstract

The main purpose of this mixed methods research is to manifest concrete outcomes of home care practices on women. Therefore it was intended to make out differences of time use regarding types of activities and works between women and men in the households where benefit from home care practice and evaluations and experiences of care-giver women about gendered division of labor, care labor, participating in public area and home care practice. For this purpose, for quantitative dimension of the research it was carried out time use survey in Ankara, Mamak with 354 women and 238 men in the 354 households, selected from households benefiting from home care practice, by methods of systematically sampling. In the quantitative dimension of the research with 35 women, who were selected from among of home care giver women by oriented sampling, was carried out in depth interviews. The analysis of the research was carried out through the programs of Excell, Spss and Nvivo.
