The great importance given to Streptomyces among microorganisms with its ability to produce extremely high secondary metabolites. The number of antimicrobial products obtained from this genus, which is the largest antibiotic producer ever identified, has been increasing day by day. The investigation of new antimicrobial molecules has become imperative due to the resistance caused by the wrong and unnecessary use of existing antimicrobial agents. The decrease in secondary metabolite discovery in recent years has led the search for new metabolites in different areas. The examinations of antibiofilm and anti-quorum sensing agents show promise against the gradually increasing antibiotic resistance. The aim of this thesis study is to investigate the biological activities of secondary metabolites obtained from newly isolated Streptomyces species on other microorganisms. Antimicrobial, anti-quorum sensing and antibiofilm activities of 135 Streptomyces spp.’s isolated from the soils of various regions were investigated. As a result of the initial examinations, 43, 10 and 25 isolates were found to have antimicrobial, anti-quorum sensing and antibiofilm effects, respectively.. Secondary metabolites of the effective isolates were extracted and minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) values

were determined. The most effective and different 9 isolates were determined by comparing the biological activities of the isolates, and the chemical composition of the secondary metabolite extracts with various activities were examined by gas chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. GC-MS analysis showed that the extract compositions consisted of 94 different chemical components in total. As a result of the literature reviews, among 94 components, 24 components are antimicrobial; Anti-quorum sensing of 4 components; 3 components were found to have antibiofilm activities.
