13-16 Yaş Tip 1 Diyabetli Çocukların Yaşam Kalitesini Etkileyen Etmenlerin Araştırılması
Özet
In this research, factors associated with quality of life of children with type 1 diabetes were examined. The aim of this study was to determine the relationships among quality of life and socidemographic, metabolic factors and family functioning. Descriptive research model was used during this quantitative research. The data was gathered cross-sectional in relational screening model. Because the research was restricted by the time and age; purposive sampling method which is one of nonprobability approach was adopted. In the scope of research, 100 children who had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at least for 6 months ago and aged 13 to 16 years were recruited. While %70 of children were interviewed in the clinic site, and %30 of children were interviewed in the diabetes camp. Because of the data was not normally distributed, non-parametric statistics were used. %49 of children who attended into research were males.
