Trombon Çalışma Metotlarının Karşılaştırılması ve Bireysel Çalışma Düzeni Oluşturma Yöntemleri
Özet
Daily practice methods created for trombone and other brass instruments involve
the combination of many complex skills. Well planned practice methods that the
musician will use in an effective study make it possible to overcome problems more
consciously. However, brass instrument performance and its complex basic
concepts (tongue, slurs, articulation, air flow, etc.) are difficult to put on a methodical
order when personal physical differences are considered. When technical difficulties
occur, many players have to find their own solutions personally for success. In this
case, the loss of time and wrong playing habits will affect the musicians professional
life negatively.
The aim of this study is to create a compilation of the practice methods and learning
materials chosen by the researcher, for performers, students and brass instructors.
In this way, planning of a personal daily practice program, which is a challenging
issue, will be more clear. Some suggestions and possible solutions will be
discussed.
After the literature study and research, digital and printed methods, theoretical
books and players opinions were examined, common points and differences were
determined. Interdisciplinary methods were also included in the study and
suggestions were made to develop personalized practice methods.
These personal practice methods obtained through the research can be a solution
to many technical and musical problems, as well as positively affecting the self-iv
confidence of the player. In this point of view, each of the daily exercises shown in
the study aims to increase the control and focusing ability of the performer in musical
performance by ensuring the development of musical abilities within a pre-worked
study program.
The research is aimed to be a study material for trombone but also can be beneficial
for other brass instruments.
