Abstract

TV series and film productions, which have started to take more place in our lives with the developing technology day by day, have become easily accessible thanks to digital platforms besides television. These digital media platforms, which emerged after the age of computer technology and internet, have significantly increased the production of TV series and films. The rivalry experienced as a result of this increase also affected the title sequence designs and enabled significant progress to be made in this field. High-quality title designs, which have become one of the important factors that increase the expectation on a movie or TV series, prepare the audience for the atmosphere of the production they will watch. Title designs, which emerged with the development of motion graphics, have become a different sector today, although not given enough importance in the past, and have begun to be designed in a structure that summarizes the content with color, texture, typography, music, time, fiction and movement elements. In this thesis, the development process of motion graphics and title design from the past to the present has been examined, and in this context, the changes that the series titles designed in our country have experienced during this process have been examined in terms of content and form.
