Dimitri Şostakoviç’in Op.87 “24 Prelüd ve Füg” İsimli Eserinin Bestecilik Teknikleri Açısından Analizi

Abstract

The present study aims to demonstrate in depth all of the “24 Preludes and Fugues” in a single study, to composers, musicologists and interpreters who seek insight into the compositional techniques and a detailed presentation of the structure of the work. In addition to these; the study aims to portray basic information about D.Shostakovich's life and acquire detailed data about the work.

The basis of the composer's work is revealed and presented to the reader through the analysis of the composer's outlook on music and the formal structure of the work. The work is analyzed using basic compositional techniques, and investigated measure by measure in order to quickly reach information about the bar that the interpreter or the researcher has difficulty with.

These investigations reveal the structure of the work, the aim of the work and the composer, the tonal and modal order of the work, and the techniques used in the work.
