Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Hastalarında Yaşam Kalitesinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

The aim of this study to evaluate the general health and oral health related quality of life in oral health patients. This study is also evaluate effects on general health related quality of life of oral health related quality of life dimensions. 527 outpatients of a public dental hospital, which is located in Kırıkkale province, are incorporate into the study. Data were collected by the application of a survey form including different questions about socio-demographic features, and oral health related quality of life surveys OHIP-14 and OHQoL-UK and general health related quality of life survey SF-36. In this study participants general health and oral health related quality of life is evaluated by using personal characteristics like gender, marital status, age, education status, cause of visit, existence of diabetes and hypertension diseases and payments made by Social Security Institution for the oral health services in the period of study and patient share.
