Eşyanın Konotatif Anlamı Üzerine Seramik Çalışmalar
Özet
Some objects have an aesthetic value that exceeds their function. Against these objects, one is carried away with an impulse which is similar to one felt against an art object (which may be counted as an object as they are purchasable and sellable) or a beautiful body. Nevertheless, their functional features keep them away from being a work of art and these objects, create a new field of value for themselves. In the first part of this paper, in which, ideas about the mood created by those objects on a human being and what the basis for this is, the making of the first tools, Hellenistic Period and the creation of the industrial objects by Industrial Revolution has been stressed. In the second part, what denotative and connotative meanings are and in the third part, Science of Semiology, Hedonism and Pragmatism on the basis of the impulse of possession and research on the aesthetic value of these objects take place.
