dc.description.abstractOne of the oldest contraceptive methods used to conrol fertility is coitus interruptus, as it is reffered to by to medical profession, of withdrawal, as it is more commonly known.The method's history probably goes back to the discovery that ejaculation into the vagina caused pregnancy.It ıs mentioned in the Book of Genesis and in Talmudic sources(IPFF, 1967) The method has been widely practiced throughout the world's history, playing an important role in controlling fertililty prior to the inception of modern contraceptives.tr_TR
