Atık Porselen Malzeme ile Enstalasyon Uygulamalarında Tiffany Vitray Tekniği
Özet
People have left vacancies in some parts of the structures they have been holding in order to provide light for the construction and where they live according to the climatic conditions. People have closed these gaps with a variety of materials, including glass produced since ancient times. In this context, the appearance of stained glass dates back to ancient times. The stained glass began to be seen in religious constructions in the 11th century, and it was frequently used in religious buildings together with the 13th century and reached its summit with gothic period architectural constructions. In the 15th century, the art of stained glass fell into a downfall as the art of stained glass lost its significance in religious construction. In the 17th century, stained glass was used again outside the religious buildings in the public areas, where the houses were seen to rise again in the beginning. Techniques used in stained glass art are leaded stained glass technique, tiffany stained glass technique, cemented stained glass technique, mosaic stained glass technique, painting on glass and gypsum stained glass technique. This research will concentrate on the tiffany stained glass technique.
Since porcelain products are not able to participate in bins and other joints due to reduced water absorption after final firing, even if they do, this ratio is not sufficient for recycling fried porcelain waste. In addition, this process is extremely costly and so can not be recycled. However, the discarded porcelain products of factories constitute massive trash (waste) piles. It is aimed to transform the stained glass (tiffany) technique, which is an element of traditional art, into a new form by breaking or cutting the inferior porcelain products with various methods and aiming at new searches in the existing situation. The veins and paths in the junctions of the fractures, in which the porcupine is broken and united, in fact the life of the match does not end, will make a reference to the experiences.
