Abstract

It is one of the most natural rights of people with disabilities to have a voice in their community and to participate in the social life. Accessibility expresses having the opportunities to access to the economical, social and cultural in particular man-made and natural physical environment, being able to benefit from and contribute in the services provided in this environment. Besides being a means of using their rights, accessibility for people with disabilities is a condition to live independently and being able to participate fully in all aspects of social life . It is required for the people with disabilities to access to physical environment, transportation, information and communication technology, other facilities and services equally with other members of the community in order to be able to live a life independently and consistent with human dignity. (Çağlar, 2012, p.543).
