Nipd Nanoalaşımlarının Sentezi ve Magneto-Isıl Özellikleri
Özet
In this thesis, NiPd nanoalloys having two different compositions were synthesized using magnetic fluid hyperthermia which is a promising approach for cancer therapy. Structural and magnetic properties of these alloys synthesized via polyol process were determined by using X-Ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Magneto-thermal properties of the alloys were investigated by using homemade induction heating system controlled by computer. As a result of the analysis, it is determined that the synthesized samples are in alloy constitution and they have a composition close to the target composition. From the obtained diffraction patterns it was calculated that the average particle size of Ni30Pd70 alloy is 3.48 ± 0,04 nm and Ni30Pd70 is 2,47±0,11 nm. It was understood from the TEM analysis that the particles of two alloys were nearly spherical shape and some of them were aglomerated. It was determined from the magnetization versus magnetic field measurements that both two alloys had superparamagnetic behaviour along with ferromagnetic behaviour at room temperature. The magnetization versus temperature measurements showed that the blocking temperature of Ni30Pd70 alloy was smaller than 10 K and the other?s was 155 K, both two alloys have wide range of particle size distribution. The heat-generation abilities of the alloys (SAR values) were investigated under the AC applied magnetic field to the range of 8,7-23,7 kA/m with magneto-thermal experiments. It was observed that the SAR values changed within the range of 0,2 W.g-1 to 7,6 W.g-1.
