Okul Öncesi Dönem Çocuklarının Davranış Problemleri ve Ebeveynlerinin Yaşam Pozisyonları Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between preschool children’s behavioral provblems and parents’ life positions. The universe of the research is 4109 children and their parents, who are in the 3-6 age range, who continue to the independent kindergartens and kindergartens of primary schools of Ankara Altındağ District National Education Directorate in the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample of the study consisted of 387 children and their parents (290 mothers and 97 fathers) with a 5% margin of error. The research data were collected by Family Information Form, Preschool and Kindergarten Behavior Scale and Life Positions Scale. In the study, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk tests, independent Groups T Test, Mann Whitney-U Test, Kruskal Wallis-H Test, One Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA), Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression were used in the analysis of the data. A negative correlation was found between externalised and internalised behavioral problems scores of the Preschool and Kindergarten Behavior Scale and Life Positions’ I am OKEY, You are OKEY subscale and as well as founding positive correlation between total behavioral problems scores and Life Positions’ I am not OKEY, You are OKEY and I am not OKEY, You are not OKEY subscales. Finally, in the results of the regression analysis related to predicting the Life Positions Scale subscale scores of Preschool and Kindergarten Behavior Scale scores, I am OKEY you are OKEY (negative effect) and I am not OKEY, you are not OKEY (positive effect) scores were statistically significant in predicting behavior problems scores. Results of the study were discussed, interpreted and appropriate suggestions were given within the scope of the literature.
