Abstract

This art work report, which is handled under the heading "Digitalization in Today's Art; Art and Artist's Substitute in the Context of Posthumanism: Post-Artist", focuses on the point that digital art has reached today and the spaces that will arrive tomorrow with the formation of a digitalizing culture. It is set out with the view that it will reach the point it reached and its spaces with a philosophical structure composed of posthumanist and transhumanist ideas. In the first part, it has been deduced on the formation of the digitalizing culture, and the effect of this new culture, which is formed with the developing technology, on art in the direction of digitalization and the development relations of digital art has been tried to be traced. In this context, the historical process of the concept of "Digital", "Digital Culture", "Digital Art" in art and the effects of the technological style brought by the precursors of these concepts were investigated, and the meanings of the digital art were examined through application examples. In this historical relationship, the types of this new concept, which is called digital art and whose history does not go back much earlier, have been explained through main and sub-titles and examples depending on the use of media and media. In the second part, the ways of thinking that started to evolve from the concept of Humanism, which forms the basis of our pre-technology modern philosophical ideas, to new concepts such as "Transhumanism" and "Posthumanism" with advanced technological developments. The definitions and distinctions of these concepts, which are intertwined with each other, have been made, and the artifacts of artificial intelligence and art, which are predicted to be effective, have been evaluated over the ideal of posthumanism. In addition, the artists and their works within the scope of the subject and the concept were included, and an interview with an artist working in this field was done to try to address their reflections on 21st century art practices. In the third part, the applications created within the framework of the concepts discussed in the artwork report are given under two headings. In the first title, applications were carried out by considering the post-humanism philosophy on the art production practices, the existence of new spaces, the human-artist thoughts transformed due to the effects of digital culture, and similar issues that can be evaluated in contemporary art. With these applications created on new concepts created by digitalized art, inferences have been made on the use of digital art for instrumentation and environment. The second title is based on the idea of a transhumanist movement, which we consider as a radical arm of the poshumanist idea, and the artistic practices that emerged after the production-production stage are evaluated and evaluated in a new, futuristic and utopian inferences.
