dc.description.abstract | In this cross-sectional study aimed to determine the non-communicable disease status and related risk factors of the population aged 18 and older living in Güdül, one person from each household was interviewed out of a total of 526 households. In addition, the presence of non-communicable diseases in 1111 people aged 18 and older, living in the same household was evaluated. Data were collected by face-to-face interviews in October and November 2018, and height and weight of each participant was measured. Hypertension was prevalent in 27.6% of the participants, diabetes in 14.3%, coronary heart disease in 11.8%, high cholesterol in 10.0%, chronic respiratory disease in 7.1%, psychiatric disease in 6,4%, cancer in 1.8% and 1.8% had suffered from a stroke. Of the 526 participants whose risk factors were questioned, 22.2% were using tobacco, 52.5% were obese and 30.8% were overweight. Only 28.7% of the participants had adequate physical activity. Hypertension was present 7.7 times in the elderly, 2.6 times in the presence of diabetes, 2.8 times in the presence of high cholesterol, 2.3 times in the presence of coronary heart disease. Diabetes was present 2.5 times in the elderly, 11 times in the presence of obesity, 2.8 times in the presence of hypertension, 3.3 times in the presence of high cholesterol, 1.9 times in the presence of coronary heart disease. The presence of high cholesterol was 3 times in the presence of hypertension, 3.2 times in the presence of diabetes. The presence of coronary heart disease increased to 4.4 times in the elderly, 2.2 times in the presence of hypertension, 1.9 times in the presence of diabetes and 1.8 times in the presence of high cholesterol. Participants should be educated about non-communicable diseases and risk factors, the importance of regular physician controls and development of healthy living behavior and their positive effects on the course of the disease should be emphasized. | tr_TR |
dc.description.ozet | Güdül İlçe Merkezinde yaşayan 18 yaş ve üstü nüfusun bulaşıcı olmayan hastalık görülme durumunun ve ilişkili risk faktörlerinin saptanmasının amaçlandığı kesitsel tipteki bu araştırmada 526 haneden birer kişi ile görüşülmüştür. Ayrıca aynı hanede yaşayan 18 yaş ve üstü 1111 kişinin bulaşıcı olmayan hastalık varlığı değerlendirilmiştir. Veriler, Ekim-Kasım 2018’de yüz yüze görüşme ile toplanmış, ek olarak boy ve kilo ölçümü yapılmıştır. Katılımcıların %27,6’sında hipertansiyon, %14,3’ünde diyabet, %11,8’inde koroner kalp hastalığı, %10,0’ında kolesterol yüksekliği, %7,1’inde kronik solunum yolu hastalığı, %6,4’ünde psikiyatrik hastalık, %1,8’inde kanser, %1,8’inde inme/felç tanısı bulunmaktadır. Risk faktörleri sorgulanan 526 katılımcının %22,2’si tütün ürünü kullanmakta olup, %52,5’i obez, %30,8’si fazla kiloludur. Katılımcıların yalnızca %28,7’si yeterli fiziksel aktivite yapmaktadır. Hipertansiyon görülme durumu; ileri yaşta 7,7 diyabet varlığında 2,6, kolesterol yüksekliği varlığında 2,8, koroner kalp hastalığı varlığında 2,3 katına çıkmıştır. Diyabet görülme durumu; ileri yaşta 2,5, obezite varlığında 11, hipertansiyon varlığında 2,8, kolesterol yüksekliği varlığında 3,3, koroner kalp hastalığı varlığında 1,9 katına çıkmıştır. Kolesterol yüksekliği varlığı, hipertansiyon varlığında 3, diyabet varlığında 3,2 katına çıkmıştır. Koroner kalp hastalığı varlığı ileri yaşta 4,4, hipertansiyon varlığında 2,2, diyabet varlığında 1,9, kolesterol yüksekliği varlığında 1,8 katına çıkmıştır. Katılımcılara bulaşıcı olmayan hastalıklar ve risk faktörleri konusunda eğitimler verilmesi, düzenli doktor kontrollerinin ve sağlıklı yaşam davranışı geliştirmenin önemi, bunların hastalık seyri üzerine olumlu etkilerinin vurgulanması gerekmektedir. | tr_TR |
