Nozokomiyal ve Toprak Izolatı Acinetobacter Türlerinin Quorum Sensing Sinyal Moleküllerinin Belirlenmesi
Özet
In addition to causing various infections, Acinetobacter species are described as nosocomical pathogens. These species are increasingly developing resistance against antibacterial agents due to their capability to adapt to any environment. Acinetobacter species are also prominent their biofilm forming ability and various pathogeniticity criteria. Acinetobacter species develops these capabilities against their environment by quorum sensing mechanism which is a bacterial communication or ambient sensing mechanism. In this study, to detect the differences in bacterial communication molecules of 50 nosocomial and 20 soil isolated Acinetobacter spp. In addition, the effect of "quercetin" and "resveratrol" molecules on quorum sensing mechanism is also investigated. These molecules are known to have antioxidant properties.ivDistribution of nosocomial Acinetobacter species according to their isolation material and services along with patients gender are also analyzed during this study.
