Subakromiyal Sıkışma Sendromu Olan Bireylerde Aktivite Performansının Ağrı, Ruhsal Durum ve Yaşam Memnuniyeti Iİe Ilişkisi

The study was planned to collect data on the relation among occupational performance and satisfaction level, pain, sleep problem, fatigue, life satisfaction, anxiety and depression in individuals with subacromial impingement syndrome (SIS). 130 patients with SIS (study group) and 80 healthy people (control group) are included in the study. Pain level, sleep problem and fatigue of participants were evaluated by using Visual Analog Scale. Assessment of occupational performance and satisfaction levels with Canadian Occupation Performance Measure. Assesment of anxiety and depression states with Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, evaluated of life satisfaction with Satisfaction With Life Scale were used. With Shoulder Pain and Disability Index was evaluated shoulder pain and disability. According to the study results, occupational performance and satisfaction levels, pain, sleep problem, fatigue, anxiety and depression findings and life satisfaction of the groups were statistically significant difference (p≤0.05). Besides occupational performance and satisfaction levels, pain, sleep, fatique were statistically significant were associated in individuals with SIS (p≤0.05). There were no relationship between life satisfaction, anxiety and depression status with occupational performance and satisfaction scores (p>0.05). In the SIS, people's life in the terms of psychological aspects and emotional states were affected by pain and limitation of movement and activity participation was decreased. As a result of this relationship, in the SIS, with the development of pain coping strategies are important for intervention studies. Self care, productivity and leisure time areas, occupational performance and satisfaction levels should define detailed in individuals with SIS. There is a requirement for planning occupational therapy and rehabilitation approaches and advanced studies with long term intervention and follows about that issue in the future.
