| dc.description.abstract | Study was conducted as a descriptive study to investigate the evaluation of nursing presence by patients with cancer in the context of humanistic nursing theory. This study was conducted between the dates April 1st - November 30th, 2013. Sample of the study consisted the patients with cancer hospitalized in Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital and Hacettepe University Oncology Hospital. The study was conducted in three phases. The first phase of the study was the validation and reliability study of “Presence of Nursing Scale”, which was used to assess the evaluation of patients with cancer on nursing services, and was carried out with 300 patients with cancer. In the second phase of study the first use of the valid and reliable “Presence of Nursing Scale” was done with 110 patients with cancer. The third phase of the study was carried out with indepth interviews which one done with 16 patients with cancer to determine their evaluations about the presence of nursing. Data were collected with patient data sheet, Presence of Nursing Scale and semi-structured interview form. In the first and second phase data were analyzed with percentage, mean, Kendal W, Pearson analysis, t test, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis, and multiple regression tests; and in the third phase data were analyzed with content analysis method. According to the study results, Presence of Nursing Scale which was adapted into Turkish was found as a valid and reliable scale for the evaluation of nursing presence by patients. The score of perception of nursing presence of patients was above the average (88.46 ±22.66). In the study it was found that the increase in the age and years with the diagnose decreases the perception of nursing presence and increase in satisfaction about current care increases the perception of nursing presence. According to the concept of presence in humanistic nursing theory, patients' perception on presence of nurse is developed to the extent of their interpersonal relationship during nursing services. At the end of the study, education of nurses about self awareness and reflection of presence to nursing care was recommended. | tr_TR |

| dc.description.ozet | Araştırma, kanser hastalarının hemşirenin varlığını değerlendirmelerinin hümanistik hemşirelik kuramı bağlamında incelenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma 1 Nisan-30 Kasım 2013 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın örneklemini Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Onkoloji Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi ve Hacettepe Üniversitesi Onkoloji Hastanesinde tedavi görmekte olan kanser hastaları oluşturmuştur. Araştırma üç aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci aşaması, kanser hastalarının hemşirenin varlığını değerlendirmelerini ölçmek amacıyla kullanılan “Presence of Nursing Scale ”in ülkemiz için geçerlik-güvenirlik çalışmasıdır ve 300 kanser hastası ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında geçerlik-güvenilirliği kanıtlanan “Hemşirenin Varlığı Ölçeği” 110 kanser hastası ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın üçüncü aşaması ise kanser hastalarının hemşirenin varlığını değerlendirmelerini belirlemek amacıyla 16 hasta ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Veriler; tanıtıcı bilgiler formu, Hemşirenin Varlığı Ölçeği ve yarı yapılandırılmış soru formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler birinci ve ikinci aşamada yüzde, ortalama, Kendal W, Pearson korelasyon analizi, bağımlı gruplarda t testi, açıklayıcı faktör analizi, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, t testi, Mann Whitney U, Kruskall Wallis ve çoklu regresyon testleri kullanılarak, üçüncü aşamada içerik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, Türkiye için uyarlanan Hemşirenin Varlığı Ölçeği, hastaların hemşirenin varlığını değerlendirmelerini ölçmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bulunmuştur. Hastaların hemşirenin varlığını algılaması puanı 88.46 ±22.66 (28-120)’dır. Yaşın ve tanı süresinin artması hemşirenin varlığı algısını azaltmakta, şimdiki bakımdan memnuniyet algısının artışı ise hemşirenin varlığını algılamayı artırmaktadır. Hümanistik Hemşirelik Kuramı’nda yer alan varlık kavramına göre; hastaların hemşirenin varlığını algılaması ise insan insana ilişkideki kurdukları yakınlığa dayalı olarak gerçekleşmektedir. Sonuçta hemşirelere kendi varlıklarını tanıma ve hizmetlerine yansıtmaları konusunda eğitim önerilmiştir. | tr_TR |
