Özet
The damage that has been given to the nature by human is accelerating gradually.On the basis of this condition, which threatens the sustainable future of the world there are anthropocentric philosophical, political and economical approaches. This thesis aims to improve a standpoint which prioritizes the environment and nature discrepantly to the mentioned approaches. Lastly showed up and continiously improving ecocritical approach, should be introduced to the Turcology for strengthening and settling the environmental awareness in also Turkish literature studies.For this reason, one of the important poets of modern Turkish literature Oktay Rifat's poetry was chosen as theoretical composition.Because his poems are competent works which can counterpose ecocriticism.In this thesis,which refers environmental knowledge is being sensed in intuitive extent,it is noticed that,in Oktay Rifat's poetry generally worth of nature, environmental right and the future of environment sre being examined.
