Özet
Mass migration of rural population became a social fact due to displacement policies of the state by using its power in the Eastern and South-eastern regions of Turkey since late 1990s. Diyarbakır, the main and most important metropol of South-east region, is one of the cities, which witnessed the practical displacement of migrating population. The people, who came to Diyarbakır as a result of forced migration, chaneged social, cultural and political structures of the city. Alongside this fact, a process of harmonization and integration with the city had been started for those who underwent forced migration. Half of the people who were forced to migrate consists of individual women and these women's experiences, narratives, needs, expectations, and strategies to understand the world, which seems to be different, is worth to study.
