Üç Farklı Eğe Sisteminin Kök Kanal Dolgu Materyalini Uzaklaştırma Etkinliği:Mikro Bilgisayarlı Tomografi Çalışması
Özet
The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of three different single rotary file systems on root canal filling material removal performed on mandibular first and second incisor teeth.Thirty freshly extracted human teeth without caries were used for this study. Teeth were scanned twice using micro computed tomography device after root canal filling and following root canal filling material removal. Sections obtained were transformed into 3D models using appropriate software and measurements were performed on the images reconstructed. Percentage of volume of residual root canal filling material was measured and the operating time was recorded for each group. Data were analyzed with One-Way ANOVA and Kruskall-Wallis test. Statistically no differences were detected among the study groups with respect to any parameters investigated. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that all the single file systems achieved acceptable root canal filling material removal and can be used in endodontic practice.
