Farklı Tekniklerle Kök Kanalından Uzaklaştırılan Kalsiyum Hidroksitin Kök Kanal Dolgu Patlarının Bağlanma Dayanımına Etkisinin Incelenmesi
Özet
The aims of this study were to compare the effects of different vehicles and removal techniques on calcium hydroxide removal and to evaluate the effect of calcium hydroxide residues on push-out bond strength of different sealers. In this study, 152 single rooted human teeth were used. After removal of crowns, root canals were prepared by using Protaper rotary nickel titanium system. 48 teeth for comparison of removal techniques were divided into two groups and root canals were filled with Calasept and Surepaste (n=24). After 7 days, calcium hydroxide was removed with %17 EDTA+Protaper F3 rotary file, %17 EDTA+Protaper F3 hand file and %17 EDTA (n=8). Then teeth were sectioned longitudinally, divided into two pairs and photographed by stereomicroscope (n=16). The ratio between calcium hydroxide to root canal surface was calculated. Data was analysed by multivariate analysis of variance. 8 of 104 teeth served as control groups, remaining 96 teeth were divided into two groups and root canals were filled with Calasept and Surepaste (n=48). After 7 days, calcium hydroxide was removed with %17 EDTA+Protaper F3 rotary file, %17 EDTA+Protaper F3 hand file and %17 EDTA (n=16). Then root canals were filled with AH Plus jet, Apexit Plus and Protaper F3 gutta percha (n=8) followed by bond strength was tested with push-out bond strength test. Data was analysed by One Way ANOVA. Results showed that, there was no differences between vehicles on calcium hydroxide removal (p>0,05). When examining the removal techniques, %17 EDTA left significantly larger amount of residue. There was no differences between other two groups. In bond strength among the groups, AH Plus jet control group showed highest whilst Surepaste-%17 EDTA-AH Plus jet showed lowest bond strength (p<0,05). Among other groups no differences was found (p>0,05).
