Elektrokimyasal Yöntemle Sentezlenen Polianilin-p-Toluen Sülfonat İletken Polimerinin Elektromanyetik Işın Absorpsiyon Davranışlarının İncelenmesi
Özet
Polyaniline (PANI) is a polymer that attracts great attention among conducting
polymers. It has been the subject of research for many years because of its high
conductivity, stability and ease of synthesis.
In this thesis; Polyaniline p-toluene sulphonate (PANI-PTS) films were obtained
by the electropolymerization of aniline in acetonitrile solvent using electrochemical
method. For this purpose, solutions of p-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA) and ptoluene
sulphonate (PTS) and tetra n-butyl ammonium p-toluene sulphonate (TBAPTS)
supporting electrolyte solutions were used. Characterization processes of
PANI deposited on the electrode surface were performed using UV-vis-NIR
Spectroscopy, FT-IR and Raman Spectroscopy and Scanning Electron
Microscopy (SEM) methods. In this context; UV-vis-NIR and IR-related behaviors
were investigated for the first time, and the strong absorption bands observed in
iv
the NIR region were explained by the charge transfer between the chains. The
electronic and magnetic superior features of PANI has been shown to be highly
effective on the interaction with the electromagnetic radiation (EMR) in the UV-vis-
NIR and IR region. In SEM images; it was observed that the polymer films
obtained were in the form of nanofibers. Conductivity values of PANI film which is
deposited by electrochemical method were measured on Gold (Au) four-probe
electrode surface and the highest conductivity value was reached in the literature.
In addition, conductivity values were observed to show reversible behavior due to
pH and voltage. The electrochromic behaviors of PANI films deposited on the
platinum (Pt) disc and Indium Tin Oxide (ITO-PET) were investigated in detail and
it was determined that the colors of different PANI forms can be obtained very
clearly in the in-situ environment and can be reversibly controlled due to voltage.
