Abstract

For a long time, it has been the most familiar form of production that the individual has transformed the connections in his own life into art object by reflecting the inner world by being influenced from the external world. After reaching a creative position and declaring his freedom, how can the artist put his own existence and self into his works?

In this study, it can be seen that especially “childhood states” left behind childhood may come to the forefront while getting around personal history. The effectiveness of the subconscious and unconscious in this sense are always examined in terms of psychology and social sciences. Examining this issue through art can be seen frequently in biographical expression and analysis. Almost every artist composes this biography in an aspect.

Within the scope of the study, the visible and invisible ties of art and art of life have been focused on and by keeping the question of whether the art or art of life is the issue of life in mind, the status of being self made through anthology and inquiries from the focal points of existence were discussed with a time indice series. The state of being self and self-realization has been demonstrated through subjective practices of ceramics, and its contribution to creativity and its reflection on the artistic process have been evaluated in all aspects. This is a case study where some intellectual and emotional accumulations and memories of personal history, in one another, approaching the art in a playful manner partially and turning of ceramics into a or expression by itself.
