| dc.description.abstract | The modality category discussed in linguistic studies deals with the way in which the attitudes and knowledge of the speech reflect the languages. Modality is marked in a statement morphological, lexical, syntactici discursive etc. The aim of this study is to reveal the use of epistemic modality, which is one of the subcategories of modality, which shows the knowledge and belief of the proposition about the value of reality, in the story of Aç Pars which is one of the text of Old Uighur Turkish. In this study the ways in which the epistemic modality is marked in the text will be determined and the reality of these markers will be shown on the scale. However, it will be tried to reveal that the markers we have identified have a different function than the functions described in the grammar books. | tr_TR |

| dc.description.ozet | Dil bilim çalışmalarında ele alınan kiplik kategorisi konuşurun tutumlarının ve bilgisinin dile nasıl yansıdığıyla ilgilenir. Kiplik, önermede morfolojik, sözlüksel, söz dizimsel, söylemsel vb. yollarla işaretlenebilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı ise kipliğin alt kategorilerinden biri olan ve konuşurun önermenin gerçeklik değerine yönelik bilgi ve inancını gösteren epistemik kipliğin Eski Uygur Türkçesi metinlerinden biri olan “Aç Pars” hikayesindeki kullanımını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada epistemik kipliğin metin içinde hangi yollarla işaretlendiği belirlenecek ve bu işaretleyicilerin olgusallık değeri ölçek üzerinde gösterilecektir. Bununla birlikte tespit ettiğimiz işaretleyicilerin dil bilgisi kitaplarında betimlenen işlevlerinden farklı bir işleve de sahip olduğu ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır. | tr_TR |
