In this study, it was aimed to examine the effects of clinical features and quality of life of high risk infants on their mothers' quality of life. 130 high-risk infants and their mothers were included in the study. The clinical information and demographic characteristics of the infants were recorded. Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory™ (PedsQL™) Family Impact Module and the Impact On Family Scale (IPFAM) were used to assess the mothers' quality of life and impact on family PedsQL™ (Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory™ Infant Scales (IS) (ages 1–12 months) was used to assess the quality of life of high risk infants. A positive statistically significant relationship was found between the PedsQL™ IS total score and the PedsQL™ Family Impact Module total score and IPFAM total score (p<0.05). There was no effect of intrauterine growth retardation, presence of maternal risk factors and low birth weight on the family (p>0.05). It was observed that the quality of life of the risky baby had an effect on the family and affected the quality of life of the mother.
