Abstract

Information Technologies, constantly and rapidly developing, are extensively being used in language studies and new research areas are emerging as a result of the cooperation between computer science and linguistics. Turkic Languages, with more than twenty written languages and millions of speakers in very large geographical area, are study fields in many linguistic researches. However, there are serious inadequacy to combine new technologies and study of Turkic Languages. Whereas, use of technology in Turkic Language research is indispensable in order to strengthen educational materials and research opportunities. In this thesis, as an experiment, it is aimed to create an interactive platform where different types of processed or raw data such as studies, field research data, dictionaries of Turkic languages and Turcology will be brought together and published. With this platform, researchers and students will have the opportunity to access information more easily. Besides all these, with the availability of types of data in different Turkish languages, it will also contribute to a better understanding of the speakers of Turkic Languages, which are economically and culturally close to each other.
