Abstract

The types of material damages that occur as a result of the violation of body integrity are stated in Article 54 of the Turkish Code of Obligations numbered 6098. The damages arising from the shaking of the economic future listed in the provision are also included in type of bodily harm. The damages arising from the shaking of the economic future have been discussed for many years in both the doctrine and judicial decisions, and a general framework has been drawn in terms of concept and scope. In this context, the losses arising from the shaking of the economic future; It is defined as future financial damages, regardless of the decrease or loss of the working power of the injured person. Separating the damages arising from the shaking of the economic future from other damages is extremely important in terms of completely eliminating the damage of the injured person. In this context, it is seen in practice that matters such as the occupations, personal characteristics and market conditions of the persons cause this damage to occur. In addition, liability should also be examined from the point of view of insurance law, especially in cases that may cause bodily harm, such as an increase in traffic accidents and damage caused as a result of professional activities. The aim of the study is to define the concept of collapse the economic future and to examine the compensation for this damages.
