Evli Bireylerde Romantik Kıskançlık Türü ve Aldatma Eğiliminin Şema Terapi Modeli Çerçevesinde Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the extent to which early maladaptive schema domains and dysfunctional parenting styles predict romantic jealousy levels and infidelity tendency among married individuals as well as to evaluate the mediator role of early maladaptive schemas in the relationship between dysfunctional parenting styles and romantic jealousy levels and infidelity tendency.The study sample consists of 208 married individuals who were reached through snowball sampling. The participants completed Demographic Data Form, Young Schema Questionnaire–Short Form 3 (YSQ-SF3), Young Parenting Inventory (YPI), Romantic Jealousy Questionnaire (RJQ), and Infidelity Tendency Questionnaire (ITQ).Regression analysis and hierarchic regression analysis were performed for the purpose of finding answers to research questions.
